Imps & Elfs started in 1997 as a modest children's fashion label without frills and fancies. Based in the style savvy Dutch capital of Amsterdam, they produce clothes that are pure, practical and luxuriously comfortable. The philosophy behind the brand is that "a child should be a child", so all clothes are designed around the shape of the child's body, taking into account that they have different shapes, such as larger bellies and shorter backs...

Producing two collections each year, centered on various story themes, the designs coordinate in shade and shape and are produced in darker richer hues such as smoky grey, muted navy, dark chocolate and apple red. This is done on the basis that darker hues show off the child itself much better than the traditional pale pastel colours. We agree!!!

As if the fact that they produce the trendiest, most practical and purest clothing isn't enough, Imps & Elfs also work with "MADE-BY", the well-reputed Dutch fair-trade organisation producing clothes that are 100% child labour free and made from only organic cotton.
