Practicing the “Three R’s” of green living; Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, each Plan Toy is made from organic rubber wood that is kiln-dried instead of chemically treated. Kiln-drying is a time-consuming, preservative-free process that maintains the natural integrity of the rubber wood and avoids hazardous residues from traditional chemical treatments. Only rubber trees that are no longer able to produce latex are harvested for Plan Toys.

Instead of using traditional toxic wood glue, Plan Toys has developed completely formaldehyde-free glue. Each toy is finished with non-toxic, water based dyes that contain no heavy metals and are safe for young children. Even their packaging is recycled and printed with soy and water-based inks for environmental reasons and their manufacturing plants run on alternative energy sources!
